The Truth About SEO Companies
SEO Companies want to make out to the general public that they are some kind of highly skilled, "in the know", experienced website engineers. The truth is however that they do very little work for the money people give them. I can tell you everything they do and how you can do it for yourself without these "experts" and without paying thousands of dollars.These so called Technical Experts have NO QUALIFICATIONS and sometimes very little experience and yet they demand similar fees as Lawyers or Doctors ! There is not only NO Degree course for SEO but no courses at all !
SEO is not brain surgery, it is so simple a child can do it. It involves ensuring that your website is primed for your search phrases and in compliance with the search engine rules. EG You cannot expect your site to appear first in search engine results for keywords "SEO LONDON" just by typing "SEO London" 300 times on the page. This and other techniques such as inserting hidden HTML, cloaking, having multiple URL'S pointing to the same site or having multiple doorway pages will get you BANNED from the search engines.
However even with your website completely optimized there is no guarantee of a high ranking, although this is a necessary step.
The Truth about Website Promotion Companies
During my many previous years struggling to make money on the Internet I had paid many companies for their services and promises of website traffic and yes in some cases I did get lots of "traffic", but this never converted to sales. Why not?Because the companies promising website traffic are sending fake hits to your site. Its as simple as that. The visit to your site is made via a proxy server from a computer program. The visit is registered by your counter but there was never any intention to read your site or make a purchase.
Web traffic companies making promises such as "10,000 Targeted Visitors to your site for only $20"
Think about it..... If someone wants to find something on the net they go to a search engine not a web promotion company.
90% of first contact traffic on the web is generated by search engines, so to get a slice of this true traffic you have to get your site to appear at the top end of search results for your chosen keywords and search phrases and as Google are providing over 75% of this traffic then the only way forward is to get a High Google Pagerank or to get First in Google.
I know this through experience and experimenting. I once had over 1,000,000 hits of this so called targeted traffic, from over 25 different companies. I sent them to a website which I had not submitted to search engines. Consequently I did not receive ONE SINGLE SALE or ONE SINGLE E-mail enquiry or phone call from over 1 million visitors!
However once I had submitted the site to search engines then I was making on average one sale per 90 visitors, and received many E-mails and leads.
So, the only way you can get pure 100% targeted traffic which converts into sales is via Google. These potential customers have already searched for what they are looking for and then followed the link to your site, meaning they are already highly interested. This is why you need a High Google Pagerank to get first in Google.
Why you need your Web site to Come FIRST in Google
If 5000 people in one day searched for "SEO London" in Google and your site was 20th for that keyword phrase how many of the 5000 searchers would click to your site.. I'll tell you....about 5 on a good day.Most will visit the top 3 or 4 (visible on the screen without scrolling), and fewer than 1% would even look outside the top 10. Here are the figures in detail:

The second column totals more than 100% as some people visit more than one site.
As you can see the difference between coming up first and coming second is huge - almost three times as many users will visit the site that achieves first place. 2nd to 4th places are still worthwhile, then the numbers drop rapidly. In my experience getting into the top 3 in Google is a real achievement and will generate sales. But your target has to be FIRST, keep working towards it!
Even though sometimes my site appeared in the top ten in Google for my keywords it was not good enough. I needed to get my site to come FIRST in Google. This means I needed a High Pagerank in Google.
Many Webmasters have difficulty obtaining a High Google Pagerank and have worked hard attempting to get a High Google Pagerank or web traffic by using the following methods - maybe you have tried some of them yourself?
Believe me I looked into ALL these ways and tried several of them, with very limited success. Yes, I was able to scratch out a living, but all the time I felt like I was about to crack the system my site disappeared from search engine results yet again. Each time leaving me feeling helpless, annoyed and unable to do much about it.
I had been trying to sell products on the Internet for over 8 years and all of the above techniques DID NOT WORK AT ALL towards getting a High Google Pagerank. Ok they may have some limited short lived top 10 success in some search engines, but to have any continued success I needed to come First in Google.

I sat at my computer night after night thinking of how to get my website ranked up there with the big boys... trying to understand why certain sites were always coming up first in search results and why my site was barely creeping onto the first page of search results.
Many times I was on the brink of defeat and almost quit, but I finally decided to take each of these top ranked sites which were my main competitors with sites I owned at the time and break them down piece by piece to find out just why they were ranked so highly. I scrutinised not only their websites but also all their promotion, linking strategies and online activities.
My sites were very similar, I sold the same products had the same keywords, I had the same or even more reciprocal links, but these top ranking websites which I scrutinized did not use any of the techniques I have mentioned so far... so why were they coming up first in the search engines ?
I found no hidden HTML keywords, or keyword saturation/stuffing or multiple links to same network of sites or doorway pages (even if there were, such methods are now being found and penalized).
For weeks I studied these sites desperate to find their secrets.
Finally after many weeks I began to notice certain patterns emerging on all the websites which were ranked highly and one key factor: "The Secret" to getting first place.
It was so obvious once i had found it, yet at the same time so obscure as it mainly involved what my competitors were doing offsite rather than on their actual website. For the next few weeks I began my new campaign, it involved a few minor changes on my website and some major changes off site.
Nothing seemed to happen at first, it seemed the same as normal, barely scraping 20 hits per day...
It was about 4 weeks later I went to check my weekly hits average and it averaged 34 per day, the next week it averaged 47 per day, the next week 61, then 84 then 116 then 137... and by now I knew for sure that I had found the secret to gaining ranking in search engines. Now my hit counter no longer lingers on the 20 mark every day but regularly tops the 1,000 mark.

A Word About Pricing
